About Heather
As CEO and Consulting Services Leader for Logixsource Consulting Ltd. for over twenty years, Heather’s consulting practice focuses on helping organizations connect strategies to results. She works with clients to design, develop and implement business and continuous improvement capabilities within organizations, and align customer and supplier partnerships. Solutions are focused on generating customer value, improving efficiency, effectiveness and enabling organizational operational competitive advantage.
Heather earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from York University and obtained her P.Log. Certification through The Logistics Institute, her PMP Certification from The Project Management Institute and her CMC Certification from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. She has over ten years consumer products experience and held a number of senior management positions with Electrolux, responsible for P&L of over $50 Million and National Brand Manager of Frigidaire, a premium consumer products brand.
Heather then moved to the professional services sector, holding key management positions with two leading management consulting firms, CGI Group as well as Ernst & Young. At CGI, Heather helped secure and implement a $250 Million, 10-year technology outsourcing deal with a large global distribution client, the largest outsourcing deal in Canada to date.
With over 25 years business experience, Heather has worked extensively as a management consultant, helping executives and teams with their most critical business challenges, addressing issues related to strategy, operational effectiveness, supply chain logistics, systems implementation as well as program and change management. During this time, Heather has led and participated in many innovative business and technology improvement initiatives in the consumer products, energy, high tech, and telecommunications sectors.

Simon Brown, BSc, MBA, CMC, CTDP, MAPM, P.Log.
About Simon
Simon has delivered supply chain transformation projects in a broad range of industries. His experience leading clients through challenging sourcing and transformation projects positioned him to be able to provide the optimum SRM toolset using a combination of best practice and academic research to managing Supplier Relationships.
Simon’s industry experience spans sectors, including FMCG, Healthcare, Retail, Financial & Insurance, Mining, and Oil & Gas.
Supply Chain Management
- Led three year SCM transformation creating and redefining entire supply chain from source of supply through to customers. Redefining all relationships and implementing new ERP and SCM systems
- Developed automated materials handling operation reducing invoice time from 30 days to real time
- Retrained and refocused strategic change team to deliver cross business change programs
Change Management
- Created online training academy leveraging focused assessed modules
- Conducted over 200 supplier reviews building out methodology to assess and evaluate the true value derived from suppliers and their interactions
- Restructured a number of supplier markets including coffee and tea, Italian specialty, candy and pies
Consulting
- Served as lead consultant supporting oil and gas team transform their Strategic Procurement operations
- Developed training academy for mid-sized Gas organization, improved employee retention and promotability
- Led evaluation of supplier performance and relationship and spearheaded new methodology to enhance supplier value proposition
- Conducted contract reviews troubleshooting issues and resolving them with suppliers
A Graduate of Portsmouth University (UK) with an Masters in Business Administration and a P.Log, he is passionate about maximizing the value each individual gets from their interactions.
Simon’s consulting company, Accelor Training, currently delivers the Supplier Relationship Management Program for the Logistics Institute. Candidates completing this program will earn the Logistics Institute’s SC-SRM designation.

He has a proven track record in accelerating leadership and people development, culture change, strategy implementation, and business improvement.
Fouad is currently the Founder and Host of the Alame Podcast Change Your Company, and CEO of Alame International. Fouad’s educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and an MBA from Bradford University (UK).

Irvin Varkonyi, CSCP, PLog, is President of Supply Chain Operations Preparedness Education (SCOPE), a firm offering training and consulting in organizational preparedness for private and public sector organizations. SCOPE seeks to add value to organizations through training human capital and improving their ability to focus on the urgency of organizational balance by optimizing operational performance and minimizing organizational vulnerability.
Mr. Varkonyi is a certified instructor with the DC Metro chapter of APICS, teaching their Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program. Mr. Varkonyi’s career has encompassed the global transportation and logistics system working with global carriers and Third Party Logistics. That experience and the consequences of catastrophes that disrupted the United States and global economies became the basis to advise clients and his students on navigating a volatile world.
Mr. Varkonyi holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Clark University. He is President of the DC Chapter of the National Defense Transportation Association.

About Greg
Greg is presently VP/Principal for Shertrack LLC. He has been a supply chain executive for over 30 years with several Fortune 100 companies and spent seven years as an IBM supply chain Executive Consultant. He has presented papers on and has managed consulting engagements in supply chain management, Risk Management, Lean/Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints throughout the United States and around the globe.
Greg was APICS’ 1997 International Society President. He is well-published, a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars, webinars and dinner meetings. Greg speaks over 20 times per year and has authored over 100 articles in major supply chain magazines and journals. He has been a member of the APICS Strategic Direction Committee, has been on the Editorial Board for DC Velocity magazine, has been an IBF forecasting certification instructor, he has taught operations management at the University of Scranton and has been a guest lecturer at ASU, St. Johns University and Rutgers University.
Greg is presently a member of the Business Analytics Roundtable for Villanova University, he has been a member of the Board of Advisors for Rutgers University’s Supply Chain Undergraduate Program, and he is Executive in Residence for Lehigh University’s Center for Value Chain Research. Greg has been teaching graduate-level supply chain risk management at Lehigh University and has been facilitating Supply Chain Risk Management public workshops and the new APICS supported Risk CERTIFICATE workshops around the globe for over three years.
He is the founder of “The Supply Chain Risk Management Consortium”—a group of (13) companies providing education, assessment tools and consulting services supporting supply chain risk-management projects and enterprise-wide journeys.
He has also been teaching classic financial ERM, Enterprise-wide Risk Management at Villanova, within their Executive MBA program. He and Dr. Robert Trent, Department Chair for Supply Chain Management at Lehigh University, have published a new book: Supply Chain Risk Management: An Emerging Discipline.
Greg is certified CPIM, CSP in systems, and a Theory of Constraints certified Jonah. He holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Computer Science from Penn State University and did his graduate work at Lake Forest College.
