In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is an accepted fact that one of the biggest industries impacted by the last three years was the logistics industry. Organizations didn't shut down, but did have to pivot quickly and effectively to adjust to the requirements and restrictions on organizations and businesses.
The report attached below explores the adjustments, changes, and challenges faced by the logistics industry during the pandemic. Responses were varied, and the report captures some of the breadth of change the logistics industry experienced - employment, supply and demand, breadth of services, skills deficiencies and more.
The Logistics Institute partnered with the Diversity Institute led by the Ted Rogers School of Management, Urban Analytics Institute, and Future Skills Centre in producing this research study. We thank them for their hard work and dedication!
